Tony Underwood is the founder, president, and CEO of Cambium Data, a managed IT services firm in Omaha, Nebraska. He has spent more than three decades in information technology, from Navy computer systems to leading network engineering for large enterprises to building an MSP that serves Midwest businesses.

He grew up in Sioux City, Iowa, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school. He served as a Fire Controlman (FC2) and first worked on military computer systems in 1991. After the Navy he built his civilian career through network engineering and leadership roles at MCI/Worldcom, West Corporation, Worknet, APAC Customer Services, DTN, and Go2Call. He studied MIS at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

In March 2001 he earned Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert #7112. In 2022 he received lifetime CCIE Emeritus status. He founded Cambium Data in Omaha in 2009 and still leads the firm.
